Why this role exists

This role drives the uplift of analytics and reporting within a major ASX-listed gold mining business, focusing specifically on the Qlik ecosystem. You’ll modernise dashboards, streamline data models and enable faster, data-driven decision-making across operations, finance and planning using Qlik Sense and QlikView.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and maintain interactive Qlik Sense dashboards and optimised data models
• Consolidate and modernise legacy QlikView assets into Qlik Sense where appropriate
• Partner with mine production and planning teams to deliver accurate daily reporting
• Integrate Qlik with data sources across production, finance and scheduling systems
• Develop reusable Qlik data models and applications to support enterprise reporting
• Collaborate with consultants and internal data teams on project delivery
• Provide user training, documentation and first-line Qlik BI support
• Champion best practice in Qlik performance tuning, governance and visual design
• Contribute to broader data initiatives including ETL development and data quality uplift

What you’ll bring

• Advanced Qlik Sense experience in dashboard design, data modelling and performance optimisation
• Experience with: Data Visualisation & Interfaces – Qlik Sense, QlikView, QlikView Server, NPrinting
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data integration principles
• Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions
• Awareness of data governance, modelling and security practices
• Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical users
• Nice to have: exposure to cloud data environments (Azure, AWS)

Compensation and details

• Rate: $700 to $800/day incl. super, dependent on experience
• Location: Central Perth metro area (flexible work options)
• Contract: 3-month initial term (view to transition to permanent)
• Work rights: Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
