AI Engineer | NOR Office | $120k–$150k + super

Why this role exists

To lead the design, rollout and continuous improvement of enterprise AI agents and Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions that lift productivity, modernise workflows and accelerate digital transformation across the business.


What you’ll do

  • Design, build and implement AI agents using Copilot Studio, Power Platform and related tooling
  • Integrate Copilot and custom agents with enterprise workflows, data sources and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Establish AI governance frameworks, security protocols and compliance standards
  • Run training sessions, demos and awareness programs to boost user adoption
  • Prioritise and execute high-impact AI initiatives, managing inbound AI ideas from across the business
  • Monitor Copilot usage, generate adoption insights and optimise agent performance
  • Review emerging AI trends, research and white papers, translating them into practical strategies


What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years in software engineering, AI development or ML roles
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents, chatbots or Copilot solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and the broader Microsoft 365 stack
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, Semantic Kernel or similar)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP beneficial) and modern API integration
  • Applied experience in NLP, generative AI, prompt engineering and LLMs
  • Understanding of AI security, compliance and governance
  • Nice to have: Python, C#, JavaScript/.NET, enterprise workflow automation, Azure AI certifications


Team & ways of working

You’ll sit within the Corporate ICT function, partnering closely with the Head of Data, enterprise applications, business unit leads, project teams and external vendors.


Compensation & details

  • Permanent, full-time
  • $120k–$150k + super
  • AU work rights required
  • Office based preferred
  • 1 day WFH (potentially)
