Power Platform & Coplilot Engineer | NOR | $120k–$150k + Super

The quick version

  • Build and scale practical Power Platform and Microsoft 365 automation that gets used day-to-day
  • Extend Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio into real operational workflows
  • Shape governance, guardrails and adoption as automation and AI roll out across the business

Why this role exists

  • The organisation is strengthening its internal Microsoft capability across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform
  • Copilot and AI use cases are emerging, but the priority is controlled, production-ready rollout inside existing workflows, not standalone data science or experimental AI projects
  • This role sits within Corporate ICT and focuses on applied automation and Copilot enablement rather than model training or research-led AI development

What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
  • Build and extend automation across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and line-of-business systems
  • Develop and evolve Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions where AI adds clear operational value
  • Integrate low-code solutions with APIs, data sources and enterprise systems where required
  • Apply governance, security and data controls to automation and Copilot use cases
  • Work directly with business leaders and stakeholders to identify and prioritise automation opportunities
  • Support rollout, training and adoption to embed solutions into everyday workflows
  • Monitor usage and performance and iterate solutions as business needs evolve

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years’ experience delivering solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft 365 stack
  • Strong hands-on capability with Power Apps and Power Automate in enterprise environments
  • Experience working within Microsoft cloud environments such as Azure, Entra ID and M365
  • Practical experience with Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Virtual Agents or AI-assisted automation within Microsoft ecosystems
  • Confidence in integrating systems, APIs and external data sources beyond low-code where required
  • Strong communication skills and comfort in engaging directly with non-technical and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with ICT, enterprise applications and business teams
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance and governance in enterprise Microsoft environments

Nice to have

  • Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents experience in production environments
  • Scripting or development experience such as Python, C#, JavaScript or .NET
  • Azure services, Logic Apps or custom connector development
  • Exposure to AI concepts as applied within enterprise workflows
  • Relevant Microsoft or Azure certifications

Team & ways of working

  • You’ll sit within the Corporate ICT function, working closely with enterprise applications, business unit leaders and external partners
  • The environment is delivery-focused and practical, with an emphasis on scalable, adopted solutions rather than experimentation for its own sake

Compensation & details

  • Permanent, full-time role
  • $120k–$150k + super
  • Australian work rights required
  • Office-based preferred (NOR)
  • Up to one WFH day per week

Why it’s different

  • Opportunity to grow Copilot and AI capability from a solid Power Platform foundation
  • Real backing to move automation and AI into production, not just proof-of-concept
  • Visible role with influence across corporate systems and workflows
  • Long-term opportunity to shape how Microsoft automation and AI are done internally
