  • Build and scale Power Platform and Microsoft 365 automation that gets used day-to-day
  • Extend Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities into real operational workflows as the platform matures
  • Help shape governance, guardrails and adoption as AI and automation roll out across the business

Why this role exists

  • The organisation is lifting its internal digital capability, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Power Platform and automation.
  • As Copilot and AI use cases continue to evolve, they need a strong Microsoft platform engineer who can deliver practical solutions today, while progressively building and embedding Copilot and AI-driven automation in a controlled, production-ready way.

What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
  • Build and extend automation across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and line-of-business systems
  • Develop and evolve Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions where AI adds genuine value
  • Integrate low-code solutions with APIs, data sources and enterprise systems when required
  • Apply appropriate governance, security and data controls to automation and AI use cases
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, prioritise and deliver high-impact automation opportunities
  • Support rollout, training and adoption to ensure solutions are embedded into everyday workflows
  • Monitor usage and performance, iterating on solutions as needs evolve

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years’ experience delivering solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft 365 stack
  • Strong hands-on capability with Power Apps, Power Automate and enterprise workflow automation
  • Experience working within Microsoft cloud environments (Azure, Entra ID, M365)
  • Exposure to Copilot, conversational AI, chatbots or AI-assisted automation, with the ability to build depth in this space
  • Confidence in integrating systems, APIs and data sources beyond low-code where required
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with ICT, data and business teams
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance and governance in enterprise environments

Nice to have

  • Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents experience
  • Scripting or development experience (Python, C#, JavaScript/.NET)
  • Azure services, Logic Apps or custom connectors
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts, LLMs or prompt engineering
  • Relevant Microsoft or Azure certifications

Team & ways of working

  • You’ll sit within the Corporate ICT function, working closely with enterprise applications, data teams, business unit leaders and external partners.
  • The environment is delivery-focused and practical, with an emphasis on building solutions that scale and are adopted, rather than experimentation for its own sake.

Compensation & details

  • Permanent, full-time role
  • $120k–$150k + super
  • Australian work rights required
  • Office-based preferred (NOR)
  • Up to one WFH day per week

Why it’s different

  • Opportunity to grow Copilot and AI capability from a solid Power Platform foundation
  • Real backing to move automation and AI into production, not just proof-of-concept
  • Visible role with influence across corporate systems and workflows
  • Long-term opportunity to shape how Microsoft automation and AI are done internally
