  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business problems into data solutions
  • Embed governance best practices (lineage, security, data quality) from day one
  • Contribute to CI/CD, testing and DataOps maturity

What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience as a Data Engineer (mid–senior level)

  • Advanced SQL plus Python, Scala or similar
  • Understanding of distributed processing and modern data architectures
  • Exposure to governance, lineage and data quality frameworks
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control and automation practices

  • Streaming / real-time pipeline experience (nice to have)
  • Cloud or platform certifications (nice to have)

  • Embedded within client teams alongside internal staff and external consultants
  • Strong community of practice, learn from experienced engineers and share knowledge
  • Hybrid model (typically 2–3 days in office/client site)
  • Agile delivery with a focus on continuous improvement

Compensation & details

  • Long-term engagements
  • Competitive rates & salaries
  • Central Adelaide office locations
  • Hybrid working (2–3 days per week)

Why it’s different

  • Strong pipeline of multiple projects, not tied to a single engagement
  • Opportunity to work across finance, utilities, insurance and government data initiatives
  • Strong focus on engineering quality, not just delivery speed
