Power Platform Consultant | Perth-based, Perm & Full-time
You'll lead the build of automations and low-code solutions that improve clients' operational efficiency, primarily on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and comparable RPA / low-code tooling, owning delivery from process discovery through to a shipped, used tool. This stream also owns our data-engineering delivery, so building data pipelines and constructing data warehouses sits squarely here.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Discovering and mapping client processes, then designing the automation or low-code app that removes the manual work.
- Building, testing, deploying and maintaining workflows and apps on the Power Platform (or comparable low-code / RPA tooling).
- Designing and building data pipelines, and constructing and maintaining data warehouses and the reporting layers on top of them.
- Owning the logic and data flows behind reliable automations, and handling the edge cases.
- Working with stakeholders end-to-end: scoping, demoing, documenting and handing over.
Required/desired background:
- 2+ years in automation, process improvement, low-code delivery or data engineering, with a degree in a Business or STEM-related field with a technical lean.
- Demonstrable experience shipping tools on Power Platform, UiPath, or a similar low-code / RPA stack. A working tool someone actually uses is the strongest signal.
- Data-engineering depth is highly valued: data pipelines, warehousing, reporting and data management (SQL, ETL/ELT, dimensional modelling).
- A process-improvement mindset, strong ownership and delivery, and clear client communication.
- Builds rapport easily; proactive, organised and AI-literate.
What we look for (common across streams)
- Across all streams, we value people who combine:
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and ownership
- Clear communication (written and verbal) and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Rigorous, fact-based problem solving and curiosity for continuous learning
- Understanding of mining operations and practices is highly desirable but not required for some roles/projects.
Recruitment process (single process for all streams)
This application process consists of two phases: online test/video questions and interviews.
Online test: GMAT-style critical reasoning and logical analysis, plus business case questions. (For Data/AI roles, code interpretation and quick coding may also be included.)
