ICT Project Manager

Perth | Full-time, Permanent | $150,000 - $160,000 + Super

Scope

Reporting to the ICT Manager, you'll own end-to-end delivery of ICT projects across the business, including software implementations, system upgrades and integrations. You'll run multiple concurrent projects at once, each with its own plan, budget and timeline to manage.

You'll partner with the ICT Program Manager, the wider ICT team and senior business unit managers to keep delivery aligned to portfolio priorities, and coordinate directly with vendors and suppliers to keep external work on track.

This is a standalone PM role with no direct reports, so you'll drive outcomes through influence rather than authority, working within established governance and change management processes to keep risks visible and escalated early. You'll be trusted to define, track and report on deliverables so projects land on time, in scope and to the quality standard the business expects, and to feed lessons learned back into how future projects are run.

Culture and environment

You'll be joining an ASX-listed WA construction and engineering business with an established ICT function and clear governance around how projects get approved, resourced and delivered. Decision-making runs through structured escalation pathways rather than ad hoc calls, so you'll do well here if you're comfortable working within process while still pushing projects forward.

Full-time, on site in Perth's northern suburbs

A collaborative team that values mentoring and knowledge sharing

Success in the first six months looks like multiple projects tracking to plan, risks flagged early and trusted working relationships built across ICT and the business

Technical environment

  • Delivery and PM tooling: Microsoft DevOps, JIRA, Primavera, MS Project (current, in use across the ICT portfolio)
  • Methodology: structured project governance and change management framework; PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM or Agile certification well regarded
  • Reporting and BI: Microsoft Power BI, used for project and portfolio reporting
  • Business systems: enterprise ERP environment (exposure regarded, platform experience a plus rather than essential)
  • Security: working understanding of ICT cyber security practices, and of software licensing and subscription management across a multi-vendor environment

Must-haves

  1. Certificate or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  2. 5+ years' experience in ICT project management, including running multiple projects concurrently
  3. Strong understanding of ICT systems, software and security practices
  4. Proven stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of a business
  5. Comfortable working independently under pressure, with a track record of hitting deadlines

Nice to have: PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM or Agile certification; experience in construction, engineering or industrial services; exposure to enterprise ERP environments; familiarity with JIRA, MS Project or Power BI.
