Engagement Manager – Data & Analytics | Perth | $120k–150k + super

Join a leading data and analytics consultancy helping clients make sense of their data, AI, and analytics. As an Engagement Manager, you’ll blend technical know-how with project leadership to guide clients through data transformation from concept to delivery.


What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end analytics and data projects, ensuring business outcomes stay front and centre
  • Act as the trusted advisor and main client contact, managing communication, expectations, and delivery success
  • Translate strategy into executable delivery plans: scope, schedule, and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide project management oversight on timelines, budgets, and quality
  • Contribute technical depth in areas such as BI, data engineering, cloud, or governance
  • Design and deliver scalable, modern analytics solutions using tools like Power BI, Snowflake, or Databricks
  • Mentor consultants and engineers, fostering both technical and professional growth
  • Support change management, helping clients embed new technologies and practices
  • Collaborate with leadership on proposals and pre-sales activities


What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years delivering analytics or data solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment
  • Proven success leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills; PMP, Agile, or similar a plus
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and database tools (Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Familiarity with orchestration and transformation tools (dbt, Matillion, Fivetran, Informatica, Python)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills across technical and executive audiences
  • A track record of bringing clarity to complexity and driving results


Bonus points for

  • Experience in data modernisation or governance initiatives
  • Change management or organisational transformation background
  • Exposure to pre-sales or proposal scoping
  • A passion for mentoring and building high-performing teams


Team & ways of working

You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-calibre consulting team working across industries. The role is based in Perth CBD with 2 days WFH as standard, though remote options are available for the right candidate.


Compensation & details

  • $120,000–150,000 + super, depending on experience
  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Applicants must hold full working rights in Australia
