Integration Consultant - iPaaS POC | Perth Metro | $800-$1,100/D Incl. Super

The quick version

  • Lead a 12-week Proof of Concept comparing two leading iPaaS platforms
  • Build identical enterprise integration use cases to evaluate performance, usability and architectural fit
  • Own the lifecycle from structured discovery through to review-ready technical design

Why this role exists

A large, enterprise organisation is formalising its integration strategy and needs an experienced integration specialist to technically validate two iPaaS platforms in a real-world environment. This is not a “click around the tool” exercise. It’s a hands-on, architecture-aligned POC focused on enabling business processes through modern, low-code integration patterns. Your work will directly influence the organisation’s long-term integration roadmap.

What you’ll do

  • Translate business intent and high-level requirements into clear technical designs and integration workflows
  • Facilitate structured discovery sessions to map business processes to integration patterns
  • Engage Application SMEs to uncover endpoints, schemas, authentication flows and constraints
  • Build and configure end-to-end integrations across enterprise systems using two iPaaS platforms
  • Implement data transformation logic to ensure integrity across disparate systems
  • Lead technical testing and validation to confirm business outcomes are met
  • Submit designs and workflows for peer review, aligning with broader data architecture principles
  • Independently manage tasks from briefing through to “ready-for-review” with minimal oversight

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise integrations in complex environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Boomi or Workato, with comfort working in low-code integration platforms
  • Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and modern authentication patterns such as OAuth 2.0
  • Experience integrating ERP, HCM or other large enterprise platforms
  • Solid SQL skills plus at least one scripting language such as JavaScript, Groovy or Python
  • Strong process mindset with the ability to understand and articulate business intent
  • Confidence in engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working autonomously and driving structured discovery
  • Exposure to data warehousing or BI environments is beneficial
  • Experience running or contributing to technology POCs is advantageous

Team & ways of working

You’ll work closely with enterprise architecture and application SMEs, with final technical oversight from the Data Architect. This engagement is part-time over an initial 12-week period, commencing mid-March. Perth-based candidates preferred, with hybrid flexibility typical of enterprise environments.

Compensation & details

  • $800-$1100 p/d incl. super
  • 12-week initial engagement
  • Part-time option available
  • Mid-March start preferred
  • Australian work rights required

Why it’s different

  • Strategic impact: your work will shape a long-term enterprise integration decision
  • True ownership: discovery, process alignment, design and execution
  • Balance of business process thinking and hands-on build
