- They need an advanced business-led ICT BA to tighten requirements, map current-to-future state and drive adoption from discovery through delivery
What you’ll do
- Lead requirements discovery, analysis and documentation across corporate business units
- Map “as-is” and “to-be” processes and run robust gap and change impact assessments
- Translate business needs into functional specs, user stories and clear solution options
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to uncover root problems, not just surface requests
- Support change adoption through stakeholder engagement, comms inputs and training support
- Coordinate UAT activities, test plans and acceptance criteria with the business and vendors
- Partner with the ICT Project Manager, Solution Architect and vendors to deliver clean outcomes
- Flex across projects as needed, Payroll/HR first, then HSEQ, supplier and other corporate systems work
Must-haves
- 5+ years as an ICT/Systems Business Analyst delivering projects and implementations end to end
- Strong process and requirements capability, including facilitation, mapping and documentation
- Comfort leading gap analysis and change impact work to drive real adoption
- Solid finance and payroll process understanding, even if you’re not an ERP specialist
- A business-first mindset: you speak stakeholder language before system language
- Ability to deliver in a predominantly Waterfall environment (Agile familiarity is a bonus)
- Hands-on UAT coordination and acceptance support
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in construction, engineering, mining or other operational, asset-heavy environments
- ERP implementation exposure, ideally in larger orgs (500+ employees)
- JD Edwards familiarity or strong exposure to similar enterprise ERPs
- Change foundations (eg PROSCI) or clear adoption-led delivery examples
- SQL Server, Power BI, data modelling or integration literacy
- CBAP, CCBA or Scrum Master certification
Team & ways of working
- Work closely with the ICT Project Manager, Solution Architect and senior business leaders
- Collaborate with vendors who’ll provide platform depth, your focus is on business outcomes
- Small team, high-trust environment where senior BAs are expected to run with their patch
Compensation & details
- Permanent, full-time role based north of the river
- $130–150k + super (seniority and fit will dictate where you land in band)
- Primarily office-based, with up to one WFH day depending on commute distance
- Full Australian working rights required
- Start in January 2026 after the break
