Why this role exists

To make collaboration, document management and day-to-day productivity seamless across a complex, safety-critical operation. You will support, enhance and modernise the M365 and desktop experience so people can do their best work.

What you’ll do

• Own second-level support for Microsoft 365 and business-critical desktop apps, solving issues quickly and preventing repeat incidents
• Administer M365 (Teams, Exchange/Outlook, OneDrive, Office), including licensing, security, permissions and service health
• Shape and run SharePoint Online. Site structures, permissions, content and governance that balance access with control
• Create clear, practical training, guides and workshops that lift digital literacy and adoption
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Systems teams to align apps with infrastructure, security and roadmap
• Introduce smart improvements and lightweight automation that remove friction for end users
• Champion compliance with policies, cybersecurity and licensing while keeping UX front and centre

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years in end-user application support within a Windows/Microsoft 365 environment
• Hands-on M365 admin across Teams, OneDrive, Outlook/Exchange Online and Office. Confident with licensing and access control
• Real-world SharePoint Online experience. Site design, permissions, lifecycle and content management
• Strong troubleshooting chops and the calm to prioritise when the queue spikes
• Clear communicator who can translate tech into business outcomes and deliver engaging training
• A security and governance mindset. Practical controls that actually get used
• Bonus points: experience standardising Office templates and style guides, basic automation with PowerShell/Power Platform

Team & ways of working

• Small, collaborative team. Report to the Head of Enterprise Solutions
• Partner closely with Systems/Infrastructure on integration and scalability
• Perth western suburb office with flexible start and finish times (5 days in the office)

Compensation & details

• Initial 6-month rolling contract
• Potential to transition to permanent
• Day rate: $650–$850/day incl. super
• Must have valid Australian work rights
